Washington Wetlands
A marsh with standing water, dry reeds in the foreground, a dark treeline across the back. Fourteen by eighteen. Weiss keeps the water perfectly still so it returns the sky, and the reed bed is the only worked passage. A landscape with nothing in it, painted because of how it was lit.
