Artwork
On Samish Bay, On Front
Dark trees along the upper edge, and below them silver-grey water turning in slow curves where a current meets the shore. Twelve by nine inches. The palette is almost monochrome and the drawing of the water is the entire content — McShane follows the swirl of a tide line the way another painter would follow a face.
