Artwork
Bushtit, Watercolor, 2023
The same species again, this time in loose watercolour on white with acid-green and yellow brushed in around it. Fifteen by eighteen. Far less resolved than her other bushtits and the better for it — the bird is caught mid-turn, the tail cocked, and half the sheet is left bare.
