Lake Union Morning 3 (Plein Air)
Painted on location at Lake Union: the Seattle skyline low along the horizon, water in bands of cobalt and cream, a foreground of green and rose blocks. Fifteen by thirty. Third in a series. The city is not the subject so much as the excuse — everything is given the same faceted treatment whether it is water, hill or high-rise.
