Alice’s bedroom Wall II
I work into worn, weathered surfaces — layered texture that feels as though it has accrued over many generations — then let a single figure emerge from that patina: a teal rabbit, still and watchful, set against a warm rose ground of white cherry blossoms and dark branching stems. That strip of patterned fabric along the edge is the bold, modern interruption — its coral and orange blooms pulling the eye forward, the unexpected note against something soft and familiar. Worn surfaces and distressed textures combine; then comes the dynamic new. Mixed media on wood panel · 12 × 12 × 2 in · 2025
